About the Position:
the Logistics Coordinator manages the day-to-day operations of Quarterway’s trucking division, including dispatching drivers, coordinating commodity loads, and managing billing and accounts receivable related to freight operations. This is a full-time, in-person position that reports to the General Manager.
Key Responsibilities

Procure commodity loads from brokers and distribute to drivers

Coordinate daily transfer of commodities between locations

Invoice and collect payment for loads delivered

Conduct regular reporting on accounts receivable

Maintain up-to-date driver files

Track current inventory and contracts

Maintain communication between truck drivers and brokers

Determine most economical shipping routes

Schedule truck drivers’ daily routes
-
Renew and organize truck tags, licenses, registration, permits, etc.

Monitor the status of trucks, trailers, and other equipment, ensuring all are in good working order

Perform customer service duties as needed by responding to calls and visitors

Assist with special events and projects
Qualifications & Requirements:

High School diploma or equivalent
-
Minimum 3 years of experience in a related position

Knowledge of basic accounting and record keeping

Proficiency with business computers, especially email, Microsoft Word and Excel
-
Comfort reading and using Google Maps to find locations, share location coordinates, and calculate mileage

Ability to communicate effectively with others and enthusiastically contribute to a team-based office environment

Bilingual preferred

Agricultural experience a bonus, but not required
